Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush -Tipsy

Everyone I know has been raving about these lately!

Amazonian clay blushes stay on for 12 hours!!!! and are packed with antioxidants and Amazonian clay which helps with oil control and skin's elasticity.

As with all Tarte products blushes are sulfate,paraben and phtalate free.There is a great range of colors,packaging is really cute, they go on smooth and have a great pigment!

Tipsy here is a bright coral, as soon as I saw it I fell in love with the shade!

Unfortunately I can't make it work! it turns into this weird acidy reddish color on me.

Why??? I don't know...:((((

Too bad cause overall I really love the product...I'm gonna look into the other shades and see if they might work better.

The Body Shop Brazil Nut Body Scrub

I have a bit of an obsession with all things coconut! but when I feel like switching things up a bit this is the product I go for.

This scrub is rich and creamy and does a really good job of exfoliating my skin. I really enjoy the smokey nutty fragrance ...I wish they made a body spray or smth too!

The scrub retails for about $18 which is a pretty great value for money!

Dior blush #889 'Pink in Love'

More and more fall collections are hitting the stores these days and today I bring you the wonderful Dior blush 'Pink in Love' from Dior 'Blue Tie 'Fall 2011.

Blue Tie collection features two blushes Pink in Love and Vintage Rose. Vintage Rose is absolutely gorgeous and it will work beautifully on lighter skin tones for me it was just to light and did not show up on my NC35 skin.

Pink in Love is a bright warm pinky coral that looks a bit scary in the pan but gives a really natural and polished look once on the skin.

This blush can work on all skin tones (lighter skin tones should apply with a light hand and blend well) however I think darker skin tones will look absolutely gorgeous wearing this shade.

Pink in Love retails for $43, a bit pricey but totally worth splurging in my opinion.

Kiehl's Creme de Corps

Creme de Corps is one of Kiehl's best selling products (EVER!!!) ...it's also a long time favorite of mine.

I absolutely adore the fragrance it's a rich, soft and comforting mix of honey and vanilla. More importantly it's really moisturizing, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin oily.

The ingredient list is a bit too long for my liking (you can see it for yourselves below) but I haven't experienced any breakouts or allergic reactions while using it so I guess I can't complain.

Rosal

Rosal is a Croatian skincare brand. I haven't tried any of their face creams yet but I am a huge fan of their lip balms. They are gorgeous and come in loads of different flavors. My favorite flavors are Milk and Honey and Raspberry. All of their products are cruelty free and made from natural ingredients. If you ever come across these I highly recommend them!

This is THE product for my holiday season look this year!If you read my previous post you know all about Rouge Allure Laque's...rich moisturizing formula and amazing opaque coverage!

Dragon is possibly the most beautiful shade of red I have ever owned,not too cool or too warm,both warm and cool tones can rock this shade. This shade tends to bleed a little bit so make sure you use a lip liner with it :))

Chanel Rouge Allure Laque-Santal

Rouge Allure Laque is basically a liquid lipstick,rich and creamy texture and opaque coverage ...as you can see from the picture above I have 2 shades Santal and Dragon.

Santal is a pinky beige nude that looks healthy on all complexions and will not make you look like a corps. This is definitely a classy way to do nude lips (think Angelina Jolie not Snooky)!

I usually get about 3-4 hrs of wear with these especially when wearing Dragon the red shade I will be reviewing next :)!!!!!!

As with all Chanel products these are a bit pricey $32 however I personally have no problem paying extra for a good quality product that I like and will actually use on daily basis.

MAC Tartan Tale :Mineralize Glamourous Kit

Did you get anything from Mac's Tartan Tale collection yet?Anything on your Xmas list?

At first I thought I would pass on this collection as there are quite a few things from Cham-Pale collection that I'm interested in....however once I swatched the mineralize kits in the store I could not resist :)))

I ended up buying the Glamorous Kit and adding My Scottish Fling Kit to my xmas wishlist ;)

Glamorous comes in an a really cute Tartan patterned tin box(reminds me of a pencil case actually)...inside there's a lipglass,mascara,paint pot and an eyeshadow...If you like bronze and warm colors this is the kit for you...

I'm not a huge fan of MAC mascara's...travel sized Zoom included in the kit is actually not that bad,it works really well on my lower lashes and the corners. Not a product I would purchase full size of but this one is small and handy to just pop in your handbag and ideal if you are traveling.

My favorite product is the lipglass a bronze-y nude that will work wonders on tanned skin tones ...This shade is so rich and decadent,perfect for holidays! I find the texture creamier and more opaque than of the usual lipglasses...which is a plus in my book!

Indianwood Paintpot is a permanent product and a staple in my make up stash...lovely bronze that works as a base or on it's own...If you don't own it yet...it's definitely worth checking it out:)))

Mineralize Eyeshadow is nice and shimmery a bit on the orange side,the texture is smooth and it blends easily...a nice eyeshadow overall,nothing too special though in my opinion!

#17 is a shimmery burgundy plum and if you have green or hazel eyes this is the color for you.

Again it works for both an everyday look or if applied heavily and amazing smokey eye.

If you like smokey eyes Anthracite is the shade for you....a beautiful charcoal black with shimmer.I've been using it as a liner too...and I have to say the staying power is pretty impressive.

Surprisingly this shade can work as a base or even for an everyday look(when applied LIGHTLY)!!

I was very lucky to receive a selection of Frownies products for review. I've been using them for 2 months now and feel this is a good time to tell you all about it.

You might remember one of my older posts about a huge annoying wrinkle between my eyebrows- George Michael style ! Unfortunately I've had it for years,my mum has it and no matter how hard I tried that wrinkle was not going anywhere.

I'm 27 years old and do not have any other noticeable wrinkles or lines yet! My skin is dry and sensitive and I very rarely suffer from break outs.

Frownies Facial Pads

The science behind Frownies patches is pretty simple they are made to retrain the muscles below the skin and smooth them back into their natural position.

I've been using these every night religiously for the past few months and the results are amazing!!!! I still have the wrinkle between my brows but it's at least 50% smaller and smoother and it just looks so much better. I actually purchased a few back ups cause I never want to run out of these EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Rose Water Hydrator Spray

Rose Water spray is very refreshing and smells great. I found the spray to be really moisturizing so if you have oily skin this is probably not the best thing for you. Little tip keep it in the fridge for a refreshing vitamin packed skin treat!

Under Eye Gel Patches

These patches are fab and actually really fun to use,they are pre-moistened ,only need to be used for half an hour and contain cactus collagen( how cool is that?!). I don't suffer from under eye puffiness or discoloration however my eyes do get really dry and irritated and I found that these patches really did help to calm and minimize the irritation.

Immune Shield Serum

Immune Shield Serum was original created as an after sun skin shield,the serum contains 40% of Vitamin E and it works great on problem skin areas.I've been using it on my face as a filler of a sort hoping that it might moisturize and smooth my skin out.

My skin feels is really supple and healthy thanks to this serum.

Frownies products are absolutely awesome,they worked wonders for me and most importantly are vegetable based and free of harsh chemicals.You can order Frownies from their website http://www.frownies.com/ they are also available in Whole Foods stores across the country. Chanel Tentation Cuivree

Tentation Cuivree quad is part of Chanel Holiday 2010 collection. This quad comes in round "European" style pans as opposed to the usual square "US" version. I know that some people prefer one or the other version ,I personally don't mind either formula and don't see that much difference.

The colors are beautiful, soft shimmery pinks and rich coppery browns with a hint of burgundy. The texture is buttery and soft and the colors blend easily. Personally I do prefer to use this particular quad with a wet brush as opposed to dry. The colors are much more vibrant and creamier when applied wet.

Satin Taupe is a staple eyeshadow in my make up routine.

At a first glance it looks like just another taupe-y neutral eyeshadow but I assure you it is everything but...If you have a chance to swatch this or purchase it please do not pass it up ...

This is by far one of the best most original and versatile eyeshadow colors ever.

Satin Taupe has a frost finish nothing too sparkly or shimmery, more of a discreet sheen.

Cruelty Free cosmetics

Getting used to using cruelty free products only can be a long and difficult process. In my Cruelty free quest I had assistance from one of my favorite bloggers, Leah from the Royal Blush Blog http://theroyalblush.blogspot.com/

I have asked Leah to write a little introduction to the topic and share her knowledge with us...

How did you get started?

First of all, I love animals. To me, they are incredibly innocent and endearing. They have do not carry ignorant pretentious traits that us humans do.

It sickens me that people would torture and kill innocent animals for the sake of vanity. Dont get me wrong, I can be vain myself, I am, after all a self proclaimed makeup addict BUT I also have an understanding that NO beauty is worth sacrificing the life and well being of another living creature nonetheless a completely defenseless one.

I mean, is it really worth it? Putting on a eyeshadow or a face cream where its contents could have possibly been dripped into the open eyes of a living bunny over a period of weeks until its death?

Can you imagine the horrid scene of walking into a laboratory and see these ROTTING STARVING TORTURED animals strapped down against their will dying just so you could have the perfect blush? It isnt to me.

What can you do to help?

It can all be as simple as making that choice, that promise to yourself that you will not buy products that test on animals.

If you dont know where to start check out sites like caringconsumer.com and peta.org. Theres a million resources out there that can get you started to living a cruelty free life.

Also, if you feel strongly about it, spread the word! The more the merrier!!!

Getting Started

I know the choice to become cruelty free can be daunting, especially if youve become accustomed to certain brands that test on animals (ahem...maybelline, NARS..) but think about it this way: There are millions of cruelty-free makeup brands out there, and more than likely they have dupes of what you already use that you may have to get rid of. For example, like NARS orgasm? Try Milani blush in Luminous...3x cheaper and the color is identical.

Another thing to keep in mind is that makeup goes in trends, last year pink was the new black and this year its coral. A good thing about that is that there are cruelty free brands out there that do keep up with those trends just as fiercely as the bad brands do so no doubt you will always have options.

Makeup comes a dime a dozen, trust that the transition will be easy when there are so many choices! Dont be afraid to jump out of your comfort zone, youll be surprised at the goodies you will find.

Just remember...Research! Research! Research!

What are some common brands that DO animal testing?

Prepare yourselves, this may come as a shocker...MAYBELINE, NARS, COVER GIRL, MAX FACTOR all TEST on animals! Not just makeup brands too, brands like JOHNSON & JOHNSON, LOREAL, OLAY, PLAYTEX, and PANTENE test on animals as well.

Final Thoughts

Of course my ultimate goal of this is to ultimately make those who read it cruelty free but I know that there will be some who do not choose that lifestyle. Although upsetting I am in no position to judge you of you choose not to live cruelty free. I respect the any decision you may have and I am grateful that at the very least, that you have read my piece on this.

I pre-ordered mine from Nordstrom's to avoid the crowds and make sure I get all the items I wanted!

Cruella de Vil: Darkly my Dear blush

Matte plummy brown-lovely color probably better for olive and darker skin tones as it might look muddy on lighter beauties. It really warms up my collection...the texture is smooth and pigmented so make sure you use a light hand.

Evil Queen:Bite of an apple blush

Bite of an apple is a warm pinky peach shade also matte,the texture is smooth and very pigmented.

This will look absolutely beautiful on all skin tones...however be careful if you have pink undertones as this shade might look ruddy on you...

Evil Queen: My Dark Magic Mineralize Eyeshadow

If you love purples you need this! This eyeshadow has pink and blue veining and shimmer.Like all mineralize eyeshadows it is really pigmented so make sure you apply it with a light hand...you can always add more color if necessary...There is a significant amount of fall out so make sure you do your eye make up before the rest of your face.

Evil Queen:Toxic Tale

I love this shade! So original-I can't think of any dupes out there! Toxic Tale is an intense coral with a very very pigmented satin finish.This will look great on all especially warmer skin tones...Toxic Tale is a great spring/summer shade and I look forward rocking it come spring...

Cruella de Vil: Innocence Beware lipstick

Perfect pinky nude,not as pigmented as Toxic Tale as it's a cremesheen finish.This might be a little too pale for darker skin tones but can work if paired with the right lipgloss over it.

Burberry Cosmetics Part II: Lip Cover Lipsticks in Nude Beige no.1 and Cameo no.2

Today I will be reviewing Burberry Lipsticks in Nude Beige and Cameo.

The packaging is elegant and minimalist,the lipstick tube is a gunmetal gray that's magnetic just like the foundation compact I reviewed yesterday so no worries about it opening up in your bag or pocket. Lipsticks have Burberry check etched on the side which I think is a really pretty little addition to an already very elegant lipstick.

These lipsticks are creamy but sheer at the same time...I would say they are pigmented but nothing like YSL's Rouge Volupte. Nude Beige(No.1) is by far the sheerest color in the range,it is a really pretty nude and I really looked forward to having this color in my make up stash.Unfortunately this shade is just too sheer and it does not apply to the lips the same way it swatches. I will still use it underneath glosses but this is probably not a color you wanna spend $30 on.

A shade that is definitely worth your money is Cameo(No.2) consistency is similar to Nude Beige creamy but sheer but much much more pigmented.The color is so beautiful and really original I can't think of any possible dupes of it.It's a perfect peachy-pink that will suit all skin tones.

Burberry cosmetics Part I : Sheer Powder Foundation

I wrote about the launch of Burberry cosmetics back in July...and finally it's here...the line is now available at 6 Nordstrom locations and on Nordstrom.com

Before I start my review I would like to note that all products have been purchased by me with my own money.

First item I will be reviewing today is Sheer Powder Foundation. This foundation can be applied with a brush or with a sponge....brush application will give you a sheer,light coverage and the sponge application will give you full flawless coverage.

Packaging wise it is all you would expect from a brand like Burberry.It's elegant,minimalist and practical to use...the product comes with a little Burberry checked pouch.The compact is magnetic so there is no way it will open up and spill all over your bag.

There are 9 shades available at the moment...I purchased shade number 8 which fits my skin tone perfectly (olive NC40).I think the range would benefit from more shade options and I am hoping the brand will realize this and expand their line soon.

I heard about Famous Dave's Self Tanners from a friend who lives back in London...she loves to tan and swears by it...so I was really excited when the lovely people from Famous Dave's sent me one of their products for review.

I wanted to give a product a few weeks before reviewing it since it is a self tanner and I believe 2 or more applications were a must for an accurate review.

This Self Tanner works equally well on your face and body something not many self tanners do....my skin is extremely sensitive and the tanner did not irritate at all.

The color developed in 4 hours and lasted for 4 days after that it began to gradually lighten- no streaks!

One 8 fl oz bottle will probably last for a month and half of use. The product has a creamy texture and a light bronze-y color so you can see exactly where you're applying the lotion.

The product dries quickly-no nasty self -tan stains on your clothes.

Another thing I absolutely love about this product is that it's both paraben free and fragrance free.You know that I am trying to steer clear from all the harsh chemicals in cosmetics and for me this product is a great find...now I can finally tan without feeling guilty!

For reference I am of Mediterranean origin and my natural skin tone is medium tan (NC40 in Mac foundation)most self tanners either do not show on my skin or turn orange on me Snookie style:((..Famous Dave's Dark gave me a lovely rich caramel bronze tan that looked very natural.

Paul and Joe Lipgloss S-001

Paul and Joe is a French make up brand that is exclusive to Bergdorf's here in the US. I always think of the brand as very retro-modern with packaging that is to die for.

Lipgloss S is very plumping and thickening,the texture is light and not-sticky. It distributes very smoothly and it's very long lasting.

I was sent shade oo1 for review,001 is a warm bronzy-brown shade with flecks of gold.The brush applicator is great quite sturdy and manages to evenly distribute the right amount of gloss you need.

The product has a very discreet floral fragrance that unfortunately I found a little bit plasticky and not very pleasant.

This is one of the best quality glosses I have ever tried and I look forward to trying other products from Paul and Joe's brand.I especially like the non- sticky consistency of the gloss and the fact that it's quite long lasting.Paul and Joe have a good range of shades...and you are guaranteed to find your favorite.

Burt's Bees Bay Rum Bar Soap

For the past year I've been trying to change my skin/hair care regimes and use more natural chemical free products.Burt's Bees is by far the best brand I've come across so far...The quality of their stuff is second to none and the prices are consumer friendly.I got the Bay Rum Bar Soap last Christmas as a stocking filler and I have to admit I repurchased it many many times and been using it ever since...the scent is warm and spicy with a hint of almond...this is a good winter/cold weather soap... at least to me...I find the smell of spices and cinnamon really comforting in the winter time. The consistency is rich,moisturizing ...and lightly exfoliating.

Ingredients: Vegetable soap base, glycerin, pimenta acris (bay) leaf oil, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil, cinnamomum cassia (cinnamon) leaf oil, abies sibirica (fir needle) oil, lavandula hybrida (lavandin) oil, juniperus mexicana (cedarwood) oil, eugenia caryophyllus (clove) flower oil, salvia officinalis (sage) oil, pogostemon cablin (patchouli) oil, aurus nobilis (bay) leaf powder, eugenia caryophyllus (clove) powder, cinnamomum cassia (cinnamon) leaf powder, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel extract, citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel oil

Life on the A list is a creamy full coverage matte lipstick from the Jemma Kidd line.

The Good: Consistency and pigmentation are quite good,the color is buildable and there is no overpowering scent.

The Bad: Not very long lasting,it dried my lips out and turned grainy (yes! I do exfoliate and take good care of my lips) I'm really disappointed with the quality ...considering I paid $16 for it at my local Target...seriously Jemma ...I can get a much better product for that amount of money...for example Mac.

Total waste of money,I ended up giving it away.

I first heard of the Tangle Teezer while I was still living in London on one of my favorite TV shows called the Dragons' Den.

Dragons' Den was a reality TV show where inventors and entrepreneurs would pitch their idea to a panel of 5 potential investors aka the dragons...and Tangle Teezer was one of the products featured.

My hair is long,thick and wavy (I am of Mediterrannean descent). I use tons of conditioner just to be able to comb my hair and which causes a lot of hair fallout.

I used Tangle Teezer on wet hair and found that it helped evenly spread the conditioner and most importantly leave me tangle free.On dry hair Tangle Teezer minimized hair breakage and simply glided through my hair,no pulling,no knotting,no excessive hair fall out.

This product will work wonders on hair extensions (I wish I had this when I had my extentions last year).I am ordering one for everyone in my family...They retail for about $15 ... and are by far the best hair investment you can possibly make.My Kerastase shampoo is $34 and barely lasts 4 weeks...

I really want to like the NYX brand,it's so cheap,affordable and there are so many shades to choose from.You all know my love for nude lippies and I have to say NYX is the only brand that I can think of that really does offer a lot of options when it comes to choosing nude shades.

NYX Black Label in India

I heard so many good things about this lipstick,the color is absolutely beautiful-a warm peachy pink that can work on all skin tones especially tanned and darker beauties,great summer shade...but can also be used all year round...What I do like about this product is the creaminess and the opaque texture. Unfortunately the smell is really off-putting,it's sweet(not in good way)...I had to take the lipstick off my lips just because of the fragrance-it gave me a headache.

NYX lipstick in Orange Soda

Round Lipsticks have a cult following and I can see why,again plenty of shades to choose from.The product is really creamy and opaque I would call it YSL Rouge Volupte's cheaper cousin...Orange Soda is a great shade anyone who loves peachy nudes is gonna love this...don't let the name fool you there is nothing Orange about this lipstick!:))Fortunately round lipsticks have a much better,less pungent fragrance that is barely noticeable.

In conclusion YES to the Round Lipsticks and a big NO to the Black Label line...

Fridays with Doro -NARS STRAWBERRY FIELDS

As you might have noticed Doro loves to have his pictures taken and since he is my assistant here on Makeupthoughts...we decided to do a little make-up related photo session yesterday...

In order to look his best we went for a long walk in the morning and then to his favorite grooming salon where he got his nails done and his 'mane' brushed :)))))

Doro loves swimming so we went to the beach a few times...now he is looking forward to the Fall and for the temperatures to drop...hot weather makes him very tired!!!!!!

This gloss is a part of Nars Fall 2010 collection...the texture is very rich but not sticky and the lasting power is amazing (about 3hrs for me)...The shade is a rich,opaque plummy pink that will work on all skintones...I am planning to stock up as it is Limited Edition,available at Nars and Sephora.com as well as department store counters.

I already wrote about Chanel Rouge Coco in Beige Felin in my previous posts...well I loved these lippies so much I bought 3 more shades...Chintz(discussed in my Chanel Fall 2010 collection post)and then recently Mademoiselle and Lune Rousse.

Lune Rousse is an amazing Fall/Winter shade...it's a plummy red that will work on both warm and cold skin undertones...The color is long lasting(no need to constantly re-apply like with some other brands...YES YSL I'm talking to you)and very moisturizing. I absolutely adore the sleek packaging...it's everything you would expect from Chanel...stylish,elegant and classy...

Mademoiselle is a very feminine color,really difficult to describe though...I would call it a dirty pinky rose...No wonder this shade was the center of Chanel's campaign and worn by Vanessa Paradis(Johnny Depp's squeeze).To me this color is polished and fresh looking and incorporates everything Chanel stands for elegance,class and that famous parisian chic.

To date this is my only Red bag...and I have to say I absolutely love it...It adds a nice pop of color and really stands out in the crowd...:))

Luella Gisele Bags hit the stores in early 2004, but they didn’t become popular ...until a year later when it was spotted on celebs like Kate Moss,Reese Witherspoon and Christina Aguilera...Unfortunately due to the current economic crisis Luella Fashion House went out of business few months ago...

Blade Runner is a duo eyeshadow compact that contains a beautiful forest green and a shimmery burgundy copper shade.This duo is so rich and pigmented..it works really well as a liner!As with most Nars eyeshadows I found this a little bit difficult to evenly apply however the shades are gorgeous and not that easily 'dupable'.

Unfortunately this Nars eyeshadow really irritates my eyes...it made them water for days and it took a really long time for the redness to disappear too....so if you have sensitive eyes I'm afraid this is not the best option for you.Blade Runner retails for $32.

I am so sorry I've gone MIA again...but I've been dealing with some health issues and didn't have a lot of time for blogging...anyway...I'm back again to blogging regularly(hopefully).

These days I'm loving Korres products...I am currently using their Basil Lemon Shower Gel and Body Scrub...I also purchased their Vanilla Plum shower gel that smells divine...Another reason I really love these products is because they are made without all the unnecessary and harsh chemicals.

I also got Fresh Milk and Milk shower gel as well as their Sugar soap...I haven't try these yet so I can't really comment on quality etc...but I can tell that both smell amazing...and I heard some really good stuff about FRESH triple-milled soaps...

My favorite scent ever!!!!!!!!

I received a Sephora GC for my b-day and since I stocked up on so much make-up in the last 2 weeks I decided it was perfume time...I went back to my all time favorite...Daisy by Marc Jacobs.This scent is so light,crisp and fresh... it contains jasmine,gardenia and violet notes...Sephora has a great deal on these at the moment...100 ml Eau de Toilette,2 x bath fizz,and a body lotion for $80...(100 ml Eau de Toilette on it's own costs $72)

Once in a while I like to venture out of my usual 'nude lip' look and go for bright pinks and reds...especially in the winter...I don't know why but red lipstick reminds me of Christmas and snow...

Every year mid July/August I start thinking about FALL collections,coats,jumpers etc...crazy I know...So I was browsing the Fall makeup collections at my local Nordstrom the other day when I saw Guerlain's newest lipstick shade 'Gigi' ...I just couldn't resist...Gigi is a beautiful pinky red that will work on all skin tones...The texture is creamy,moisturizing and quite long lasting.

My one complaint though is the packaging...seriously Guerlain?The packaging is not practical at all and it's really heavy too...I just don't get it and I know some of my friends feel the same way...

So in conclusion...if you don't mind the ridiculously annoying packaging and the outrages price ($42) go for it...Personally I will probably not repurchase because it will last me a long time(since I don't wear these shades that often) and by the time I finish it there will be other lip products I will be wanting to try out.

This mascara is supposed to regenerate,condition and make lashes fuller as well as minimize fall out.I love love love volumizing and thickening mascaras however this one is not as volumizing as I hoped it would be...it's great as a base though...I use two coats of Definicils and then two coats of my favorite YSL mascara in Burgundy for beautiful,dense lashes.I've only been using it for the last two days so I can't really report whether it lives up to it's promise and regenerates and minimizes fall out.

Today's post is all about my make up bag...this has been requested so many times...sorry it took me so long to finally get around to it:)))I had to split this into 2 parts since I carry around way too much stuff ...Check back in for Part 2 tomorrow...

Marc Jacobs Make up Bag

This is my favorite make up bag,it's big enough to store all my products but small enough to fit into any bag:))

Chanel Glossimer in Giggly

This is my perfect nude lipgloss even though you can't really tell from the picture(bad lighting)

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage shade 5

I use this as a concealer under my eyes and on my lips when I'm going for a really nude look.The texture of this concealer is quite dry so it doesn't look cakey.

Favorite Lipstick Mac Peachstock

I talked about this lipstick so many times...it's my all time favorite...if you are a medium to dark skin tone like me and all other Nude lipsticks wash you out Peachstock is the way to go :)

I really like how plum eyeshadows work with my green eyes...so when I saw this I could not resist...These eyeshadows are baked on terra cotta for a silky highly pigmented texture,they have a good staying power and can be applied wet or dry.

You can create both soft everyday and smokey sultry eye looks with this trio,it's easy to apply and touch up and the palette is quite small and easy to pop into any handbag or even a clutch...

The only thing that really disappointed me about these shadows and other LORAC products in general is that they still use TALC in their stuff...Talc in cosmetics is something I try to avoid as much as I can and I would have never purchased this if I knew about it(I guess I need to read labels more carefully...)

In this day and age we can choose from so many natural cosmetics...like Tarte for example that do not contain unnecessary and harsh chemicals...
